A sawed off shotgun would be a dandy ‘weapon of war’ in certain situations. In the war for Southern Independence Confederate cavalrymen and guerrilla fighters would ride into battle with several percussion revolvers tied to them.

A ‘weapon of war’ is defined by the situation, not some black robed shyster with a ‘political agenda’ or some communist propagandist or one of their brain dead tools. Lot’s of ignorant 19-year-olds die in wars. That won’t change any time soon.
