The Bill of Rights is under attack from both the ‘left and the right.’ When the commies or whatever are beaten down into a minority again the ‘christian conservatives’ will show little more respect for ‘free speech,’ i.e. the First Amendment than the commie trash has over the last couple decades.
This is because they can’t grow up enough to put the Bill of Rights over their particular version of whatever any more than the commies can over their version of utopia or whatever one wants to think they’re working toward.
I see it all the time and they’re blind to it because they choose to be because it’s easier.

FK – I personally don’t understand the concept of ‘gay marriage.’ And all are tired of the constant Marxist globalist propaganda on this topic. But that’s what it is.
There should be and probably is a way two or more tool-using monkeys can make themselves financially or emotionally or whatever responsible for each other.
From my understanding the courts do allow ‘common law’ marriages in legal proceedings. Men are often dragged into court to be made responsible for the wild oats they sowed.

That’s what liberty is. The most basic form of property is one’s own person and if one cannot use that as one sees fit then one is certainly not free.
Sadly too many busybodies on either side of the ‘culture war’ can’t handle that.
