GOA’s State of the Union

–How Gun Owners Frustrated Obama’s Gun Control Agenda in 2014

“The group’s Executive Director Larry Pratt saw the West Virginia Democrat working behind the scenes, pushing gun control after Sandy Hook. He called him out and asked other gun rights groups, including the NRA, to do the same.” — Freedom Outpost, January 19, 2015

Two former Presidents paid quite a compliment to Gun Owners of America and its members last year.  For starters, President Obama said:

People ask me what I’m proudest of and what are my biggest frustrations as President. My biggest frustration is that this society hasn’t been willing to take some basic steps to keep guns out of the hands of people who can do damage. (The White House, June 10, 2014)

So in other words, he’s frustrated that Congress rejected every single one of his gun control proposals over the past couple of years.

GOA members should accept this compliment and pat themselves on the back.

FK – Some important battles won, but we’re a long, long way from the end of the war.

‘Gun control does not equal gun safety,’ says NSSF head

FK – How pathetic. Even if one of the ‘protestors’ had committed a crime that’s no reason take away the Liberty of over 300 million others. Even if some of them did some ‘stupid’ things that’s no reason to condemn all who were carrying. They need better leadership, something our movement is lacking, especially when so few see the necessity of making our elected public servants fear us and of preparing for what will be required.

Why Gun Owners Are Right to Fight Against Gun Control

“We’re going to have to take one step at a time, and the first step is necessarily — given the political realities — going to be very modest. Right now, though, we’d be satisfied not with half a loaf but with a slice. Our ultimate goal — total control of handguns in the United States — is going to take time. My estimate is from seven to ten years. The problem is to slow down the increasing number of handguns sold in this country. The second problem is to get them all registered. And the final problem is to make the possession of all handguns and all handgun ammunition — except for the military, policemen, licensed security guards, licensed sporting clubs, and licensed gun collectors — totally illegal.” – Pete Shields, chairman of what is today the Brady Campaign, inThe New Yorker in 1976

FK – Those who don’t prepare for what will be required fully deserve the ditch they will be shot into… So many of us have been warning, for so long.

Sandy Hook Commission Shows Why Gun Registration Requirements Must be Defied

The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, set up by Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy in January 2013, has apparently spent the entire two years between then and now finding creative new ways to infringe on that which shall not be infringed. Given that length of time, it is hardly surprising that they dreamed up some real doozies.

Just one such doozy (of many) was unveiled last Friday, when the commission announced that when its final report is ultimately released (planned for the middle of next month), it will include a recommendation to ban all guns that can fire more than ten shots between reloads. From the Associated Press:

An advisory panel charged with looking at public safety in the wake of the deadly Newtown school shooting agreed Friday to include in its final report a recommendation to ban the sale and possession of any gun that can fire more than 10 rounds without reloading.

FK – Any pathetic despicable coward that turns in its weapons needs to be shot down at the gun turn in point along with the trash manning the gun turn in point and along with the trash that recommended, wrote and passed the ‘law.’

Millions will dig the ditch they are told to dig then wet their pants when the machine gun bolts slam home and die stupidly wondering “How did this happen to me?” The tiny minority will have to do what will be required.

It’s time to stop arguing over the culture war. It’s time to stop hunkering down for the apocalypse. It’s time to stop waiting to get beamed up. It’s time to start thinking Normandy.

If you sit home waiting your turn you deserve to have your gun taken from your cold dead hands.

The Founders didn’t wait for the Brits to knock down their doors. They gathered at the green and stood up like men and they killed government employees all the way back to Boston.

What will you do when it’s time to hunt NWO hacks, republicrats and commies(“Liberals” and ‘progressives’)?

It’s way past time to prepare for what will be required.

7 Children Taken from Parents During Search for “Miracle” Treatment Chemical

Stanley opened his door Monday afternoon to find a warrant waiting for him and his home surrounded by State and Garland County agents.

“It said we’re here to search your house,” Stanley explained.

Hal and his wife Michelle were kept outside for hours while officers searched the home with their seven children inside.

Hal said, “If they had asked me if I had MMS, I’d say yes and give it to them.”

Hal insists that only he takes the supplement and he uses MMS as a water purifier for his garden.

The garden is part of the Stanley’s way of life.

They avoid most contact with the government. The parents have home schooled their nine children, two of which have graduated and gone on to college.

The Stanley’s keep to themselves, are generally self-sustained and consider themselves “preppers”.

FK – We should have a militia force in every county in this country to deal with this kind of evil.

Mom of 7 Homeschoolers in Arkansas Taken by Authorities Speaks Out

About why the children were taken by authorities:

I don’t believe it is about child protection. I think it is more about taking away our rights, because we believe differently and we do so many things differently. I think I’ve had all of our convictions that we have stood by for all our lives just ripped away. Our kids are in public school. Next thing it will be vaccinations…

We didn’t find out until today (Tues. Jan. 20th) that our court date was tomorrow… They served us the papers less than 24 hours…

And then they made the press statement and switched the issue from… it’s not that MMS is not an issue, but I think they realized it is not going to be …. because we got 2 chemical companies now called to defend their products, and they were given all the details which we didn’t have the knowledge about… they’re shifting it to how bad a parents we are or whatever…. It’s about our beliefs. I think they just saw us as an ideal target or something, I don’t know…

Happy Birthday General Lee

FK – What our ancestors did when they came to this continent was invent a new form of empire. A few of them insisted on a Bill of Rights to force the federal government to acknowledge our natural born rights all of which are based upon the most basic right any creature possesses, the right to fight back. The Bill of Rights is what makes us ‘exceptional.’

Robert E. Lee should be remembered because he did his duty, he fought for his country, against ‘common sense,’ against what would have been a stellar military career with the Yankee empire.

Oh for such men today.

FK – From the movie ‘Gods and Generals‘:

FK – “…challenging our central government…” Did ya’ catch that?

“With all my devotion to the Union and the feeling of loyalty and duty of an American citizen, I have not been able to make up my mind to raise my hand against my relatives, my children, my home. I have therefore resigned my commission in the Army, and save in defense of my native State, with the sincere hope that my poor services may never be needed, I hope I may never be called on to draw my sword…..” Lee in a letter to his sister, April 20, 1861

Going To The Roots Of The Problem

Well, now, just who was this “John Brown” of Providence, Rhode Island, who ignited the Gaspee affair, and with its flames set afire one of the brightest torches lighting the way towards America’s War of Independence? After John Hancock of Boston, Massachusetts, Brown was probably the wealthiest man in New England, whose family fortune later endowed Brown University, in Providence. For his part in burning the Gaspee, though, Brown could have been convicted of treason and piracy—the punishments for which, if his ignominious death on the scaffold had not been enough, would have included the forfeiture of all his worldly goods to the Crown. (Hancock, too, would have stood in the shadow of the public executioner to pay the supreme penalty for his own acts of treason against Great Britain, had Major John Pitcairn and his Redcoats apprehended him in Lexington on the 19th of April in 1775.)

Although a shrewd merchant, John Brown did not organize the attack on the Gaspee because it was a good profit-making venture, a sound economic investment, or a clever hedge against inflation or depression. Neither did he mount the attack to curry favor from the political Establishment. To the contrary: From the moment he gathered his fellow patriots at Sabin’s Tavern, he stood to lose everything, including his life. His participation in the Gaspee affair was the riskiest speculation he had ever made or would ever make—under the circumstances, at least supremely reckless, in the view of the world perhaps insane. He was, after all, spitting in the eye of the entire British Empire, the supremely puissant “New World Order” of his day. Yet he—along with John Hancock, George Washington, and many other rich and influential Americans who wagered their all in the forefront of the fight for liberty—was eventually victorious!

So it is not impossible for the well-to-do to be clear-sighted, courageous, patriotic, and even self-sacrificing. Or at least it was not impossible then, although apparently it is very difficult these days. It should not, however, be too difficult, even today. For unlike John Brown, who in the comfort of his rich surroundings had nothing material to lose if he and his fellow Americans had simply sat down quietly under British rule, the wealthy among the middle class today have everything to lose if patriotic Americans—especially including themselves—do not stand up, muster their financial and other resources, and bring an end to the Federal Reserve System and the emerging national para-military police state. Because the Federal Reserve System will destroy the economy; and the para-military police state will clamp down on society in the aftermath of financial collapse; and then those who have wealth that can be stolen by political looters will have it stolen. Perhaps not as soon as tomorrow. But too soon for comfort.

FK – As I’ve said for a while, it won’t happen until the hogs figure out there’s no more corn in the trough.

Unfolding debate: Do rifle-toting activists help or hurt 2A effort?

In the wake of Friday’s announcement that the Washington State Senate will no longer allow open carry of firearms in its gallery, a debate has erupted in the firearms community as to whether long gun open carry demonstrations advance or hurt the Second Amendment cause.

As one might guess, there are sharp opinions on both sides. However, this is not a discussion limited solely to the Evergreen State. This past week, a similar furor has erupted in Texas, as open carry activists reportedly confronted some state lawmakers in Austin. After that incident, the Texas House approved the installation of “panic buttons” in legislative offices.

One popular blogger, Bob Owens at Bearing Arms.com, verbally unloaded on one Texas group and their leader this week, calling them “knuckleheads.” Readers responding to the Seattle Times report yesterday are also engaging in some name-calling, intimating that a group of about 15-18 people who gathered on the Capitol steps in Olympia Thursday, before walking inside and entering the House gallery to pose with their rifles, may not be terribly bright.

There are some ironies here. The armed group entered the House gallery, but it was the Senate that yesterday banned openly carried firearms in its chamber. Concealed handguns will evidently still be allowed, but visible firearms are now being treated like other props of protest, such as signs or banners. There has long been a ban on protesting inside the legislative chambers.

FK – Don’t miss the comments on this one. Here’s my initial response to the article:

The question will soon be not whether or not they are ‘allowed’ to do it but if we have enough to do it.

State Senate bans openly carried guns in public gallery

Here my posted comment to this:

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.” – Thomas Jefferson

That’s what this is about. That’s all this is about. Our elected public SERVANTS are supposed to fear us. They’re supposed to go to work every day wondering if something they might do might cause crowds of armed men to descend upon them and render the justice they so rightly deserve. It’s a miracle and actually a failing that we haven’t already, on every state legislature and especially on the district of commie criminals.

It’s way past time to be ready for what will be required.

GOA Alert: “Fast Track” to Delegate Enormous Power to Obama

— Second Amendment Could be Impacted

Congress got back to work last week.  And within the next month, the congressional GOP leadership is expected to move a “bait and switch” scheme that could seriously impact the Second Amendment.

The scheme is called “fast track.”

In “fast track,” Congress passes a bill which delegates to Barack Obama the legislative authority to do anything he wants — ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING — so long as he includes it in a “trade agreement.”

In this case, the trade agreement is the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement (TPP or TPA) — currently being negotiated with thirteen Pacific Rim nations.

The problem is that Congress would delegate this authority to Obama without knowing what was in the top secret agreement — and possibly before it is even completely written.

FK – I told the bastards they shouldn’t be surprised if someday soon they look out their windows up there and see crowds approaching, not with signs in their hands but with tools to do what will be required.

Why aren’t we killing them? Can someone tell me?

FK – This should have been split into two vids.

The point is to be ready when they say ‘turn them in’ so that the first home they raid for guns is the last home they raid for guns. The trash that participates in such should thereafter never feel safe in their own homes.

Millions will dig the ditch they are told to dig then wet their pants when the machine gun bolts slam home and die stupidly wondering “How did this happen to me?” The tiny minority will have to do what will be required.
