FK – Christians aren’t killing each other over their various versions, sub-versions and subversions(unless you count the Branch Davidians that mainstream ‘Christianity’ lifted not a finger to help) because they have successfully been pacified into moronic mush heads. This worries me almost as much as the fact that billions of them are still OK with the idea that ‘their’ god will burn the vast majority of humans that ever existed alive in fire forever and all three groups of adherents to the ancient tribal propaganda are quite OK with killing millions or billions in their ‘final war.’
This tells us that humans are still a very primitive species and we still exist in a very dark age.
Most people have no guns in these fully democratic nations and have no way of getting them, legally or otherwise. It is hence at best naïve, sometimes disingenuous, to imply that if several gun control measure would be enacted — and somehow enforced — the U.S. would gain what these other nations take for granted. (By the way, Black Lives Matters may wish to take note: In these blessed nations most cops, most of the time, have no guns either.)
Given that even micro gun control measures will be effectively blocked by the NRA and its allies, and that promoting mini measures as potentially effective is misleading, progressives may as well go for the big enchilada: Call for domestic disarmament.

That would be a better magical solution to what will be required but alas we don’t have any magic handy.
Our ancestors fought a bloody 8-year war to gain us our independence from monarchy, the ancient rule of god-appointed kings and some semblance of human Liberty which a few have been trying to expand ever since while another minority works to annihilate it and the majority sits back and ignores the process or pretends it’s not happening because it’s easier.
Make no mistake, we must have a similar though probably far bloodier restoration in our future, or future generations will have to be issued knee pads for that is where they will be spending the majority of their time.
