The prosecutor in Atlantic County has relented, and Shaneen Allen will be admitted into a pre-trial intervention (PTI) program. In consequence, she will avoid jail time, a felony conviction, and the destruction of her life.

Allen, a single mother of two, had been threatened with up to ten years in prison after she drove from her home state of Pennsylvania into neighboring New Jersey with a concealed handgun in her purse. Allen had thought that her Pennsylvania concealed-carry permit was accepted in New Jersey. When she was pulled over for a minor traffic offense, she discovered that it was not. Inexplicably, the prosecutor, James McClain, had sought to punish her to the fullest extent of the law. Today, he changed his mind.

Windows reflects an old model where software vendors revolve around upgrade cycles and big bang releases. Windows 9 should ultimately look like a SaaS service where we pay an annual fee for twice a year feature releases. If Microsoft really does it right the next-gen Windows wouldn’t have a number behind it.

The document also claims the economic impact of such a ban will be minimal to hunters, which is patently false given that a research firm found that such an existing ban in California will likely lead to a 300% increase in the price of ammo sold in the Golden State.

Recently released FBI crime statistics curiously appear to show that no murders occurred in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012, despite reports that numerous schoolchildren and faculty members were slaughtered during a shooting rampage in December of that year.

The investigation took an odd turn earlier this year when national school safety consultant Wolfgang Halbig was visited and threatened at his home by homicide detectives after he began reporting on additional inconsistencies in the Sandy Hook narrative, which he believes prove the shooting to be fabricated.

Among 16 questions which Halbig says are key to unlocking the Sandy Hook mystery, Halbig asks, “Why and for what reason would the FBI classify the SHES shooting when they did not classify the Columbine shooting which also was an Active Shooter Mass Casualty Incidents (AS/MCI)?”

Additionally, Halbig questioned why no trauma helicopters were ever summoned to the school, and why paramedics and EMTs weren’t allowed to enter the building to try to save lives.
