Chicago’s Gun Laws Prevent Poor From Defending Themselves

The West Garfield Park neighborhood in the South Side of Chicago is one of the deadliest places in the country, according to the Washington Times.

Following receipt of information requested under the Freedom Of Information Act, the Times discovered that ZIP Code 60624 (which includes West Garfield Park) has, in the last month, “recorded more homicides, robberies, assaults, thefts and narcotics charges combined than any other ZIP Code in Cook County.” In contrast, ZIP Code 60464 has experienced only one homicide in the last 10 years. The difference in demographics explains part of the reason why: West Garfield Park is nearly 96 percent black, whereas Palos Park is overwhelmingly white. Residents in West Garfield Park have an average income just barely above the poverty level, while residents in Palos Park live well, enjoying an average monthly income of more than $10,000.

But perhaps the biggest demographic difference is the number of concealed carry permits in these two neighborhoods. Out of nearly 115,000 total residents in West Garfield Park, fewer than 200 have been issued concealed carry licenses, whereas in Palos Park more than 60 licenses had been issued to fewer than 5,000 residents there. Put another way, there are seven times more permits per capita in Palos Park than there are in West Garfield Park.

FK – The upper classes are also more educated, and many of them fear the lower classes learning what their ‘rights’ are. Once enough of them learn things may change, but not unless they also learn they bear personal responsibility for making things change. When I see working poor people put up with being treated like jackasses by their employees here in rural Kentucky I don’t have much hope for ‘change.’

Those who created the welfare state knew full well the ‘outcomes’ they were hoping for. Inner city blacks and many rural whites are existing in those outcomes now.

FK – Unless this virus mutates into something else, it’s a long way from being the Spanish Flu.

Let’s be safe, but not deal in fear-mongering. We have enough real problems to deal with, like our blood domestic enemies, the greatest plague mankind knows at this time, yes even more dangerous than the ragheads hiding in caves on the other side of the world.

Most gun rights activists, groups remain silent on amnesty threat to gun rights

“Hispanics promised Obama will act on immigration by year’s end,” The Washington Times reported Wednesday.

“The question of executive action, my friends, is a ‘when’ question,” Labor Secretary Thomas E. Perez promised attendees at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute convention.

“He said Mr. Obama shares their values, despite having repeatedly put off thorny decisions on immigration,” The Times report continued.

That’s evident from the “Look Who’s Coming to CHCI’s 37th Annual Awards Gala” announcement.

“President Barack Obama will address the largest Latino gathering in the country at CHCI’s 37th Annual Awards Gala on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center,” the ethnocentric politics group advertised. “This will be the fifth year that President Obama has addressed the CHCI Awards Gala, going back to when he was a presidential candidate in 2008.

So why is Gun Owners of America still the only gun group speaking out on the danger to gun owners?

FK – Because GOA is one of the few ‘pro gun’ groups really worth bothering with. This is a total multi-front war. So many refuse to acknowledge or act on this fact because it would personally cost them too much which proves this remains a nation of cowardly whores. Until that changes and we begin a process of the eradication of our domestic blood enemies nothing will get better.

Hey Republicans, Read This — A Millennial Wrote It

5.) Have you considered the consequences of what you’re doing?

No, we haven’t. Our generation is actually predisposed to willy-nilly decision-making. (In case you didn’t pick it up, that’s sarcasm in text.)

We were raised on stories of heroism about our Founding Fathers. They rebelled against the spiteful British, knowing well enough that their demise was just around the corner. The consequence of death wasn’t a thought–creating a haven of liberty for their posterity was. That being said, we ask you this–have YOU considered the consequences of us NOT acting? Are we to sit by passively as our country becomes more divided, our money is spent, and our country heads towards the same fate as the Roman Empire?

Instead of assuming we haven’t thought about what will happen when we act, why don’t you consider that we may be like our Founding Fathers. The consequences YOU fear–the very fear that moved YOU to inaction–those don’t scare us. We’re more scared about our future if we don’t act. So yes, condescending person–we have considered our actions. And we’re proud of what we’re doing.

6.) You don’t have enough experience.

Experience in what? Running up debt in numbers that basically no one can fathom? Experience in saying yes to men who have been there for too long and no to people who are willing to work for principle? Experience in stripping liberties from all political sides? Experience in navigating a political scene and having little to no “street smarts?” If that’s the experience you want, keep it.

Experience in the way Republicans use it screams “old dude.” We’re not interested in following the ways of McCain in order to appease an archaic hierarchy of political movement. There’s no time for that. Perhaps the mindset needs to be “we have the experience, so let’s mentor the ones with the drive, the creativity, the stamina, and the will to serve” in lieu of pandering to a system that appears to care nothing about the people who truly drive this country.

FK – When I was ‘young,’ for some a relative term, I figured out that a lot of ‘older’ folk had clearly forgotten what it was like to be young. I was born the year Marilyn Monroe died and I still think this. Some of this is hormonal, some of it is just plain-old fashioned intellectual laziness.

Lots of ‘older’ folk can’t be dissuaded from the idea that just because they ‘did it that way’ for 40 years that ‘that way’ might not be such a hot idea, if for no other reason than ‘the times have changed,’ as they always do. Politics is human nature and vice versa, and cultural. Cultures evolve with time, if they didn’t we’d still be eating raw livers from fresh kills and sacrificing babies.

But for you ‘young’ folk: The generation or two immediately preceding you doesn’t carry all the blame, well they do, but this has been going on for multiple generations. A war was fought in the 1860s over some of these same issues and the bad guys won. But lots of ‘older’ folk can’t come to grips with this because it goes against their indoctrination just as so many of them can’t stop sitting on their asses waiting for the world to end.

This really has less to do with age and more to do with how much responsibility for the world around them any individual chooses to take on. Old political activists of whatever stripe can be as guilty of ‘going with the flow and doing what’s always been done’ as any apolitical sheeple.

I’ve struggled for nearly 20 years with the apathy I see around me on a daily basis and still struggle with the mindless allegiance to ancient propaganda, and those who still resort to using key terms and phrases made popular by the American Communist Insurgency and Marxist front groups whose job it is to divert us from realizing who our real enemies are.

The last few years I’ve been simultaneously quite happy and proud of a lot of young liberty activists and very disheartened by their own inability to overcome the indoctrination they’ve received from the government schools and universities and mainstream news media.

Someone wrote a long time ago that there’s ‘nothing new under the sun.’ If you really want to get into that watch the new version of Battlestar Gallactica. Yes, I’m serious.

Most importantly of all, you ‘young’ folk must understand something I still struggle with: you who give a damn will always be in the minority, even if you win and someday some kid will look at you and say “We ain’t gonna do it that way anymore.” Then you can smile and nod.

Crush of Illegal Immigrant Children Hits U.S. Schools

According to a report (“Estimated Cost of K-12 Public Education for Unaccompanied Alien Children”) from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) that came out in August, it will cost Louisiana $25,829,748 to educate illegal alien minors during the upcoming school year.

FAIR’s figures for several other states are much higher, with New York topping the list with $147,731,339, Texas with $77,655,584, California with $63,908,143, Maryland with $67,937,602, New Jersey with $57,698,181, Florida with $56,773,589, and Virginia with $54,182,412. The total estimated cost of educating illegal alien minors during the upcoming school year for all states and the District of Columbia is $761,405,907.

A report posted by American Thinker on July 8 explained that the Obama administration was using the 1982 U.S. Supreme Court opinion in Plyler v. Doe to pressure the states to provide elementary and secondary education at taxpayer expense to children who are illegal immigrants.

In the American Thinker article, the writer, Los Angeles attorney Allan Favish, presented the following case: “FAIR found that annually the estimated 195,000 illegal alien students and 481,000 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens place an $8.5 billion burden on taxpayers for their education costs.”

FK – And the commies can’t wait for them to hit the polls…

Sandy Hook commission blames homeschooling

Susan Schmeiser, a mental health law professor at the University of Connecticut, said, “Continuation of homeschooling should be contingent upon approval of [individualized education plans] and adequate progress as documented’ in progress reports.”

The basis for the decision to pin a target on homeschoolers is the fact that Lanza was withdrawn from public schools apparently during his 10th grade, and his mother, Nancy, 52, reportedly homeschooled him, for a time.

FK – It’s all about control, can’t let any sheeplets escape the commie indoctrination.
