The Bluegrass State fared no better for anti-gun Democrats, as GOA-endorsed Matt Bevin won his race for Governor.

This was quite a feat, given that he is only the second Republican in four decades to win the governorship of Kentucky.

Bevin’s opponent advocated so-called “Universal Background Checks” at gun shows, which would bring government regulation to private firearms sales.

GOA had proudly endorsed Matt Bevin and his running mate, Jenean Hampton — both of whom are veterans of the U.S. military and understand the importance of the Second Amendment.

FK – We still  have to flip the house or get the demoncrats to vote for the Firearms Freedom Act.

Lois Lerner and the IRS are off the hook for targeting conservatives during the 2010 and 2012 elections, according to the Justice Department.

So there you have it. The government can use a tax agency as a weapon of political intimidation to target a minority of dissenting citizens, and according to the Justice Department, that’s perfectly legal.

Last summer, the U.S. Army confirmed that soldiers will begin wearing the new Army Combat Uniform (ACU) that bears the Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) – also known as Scorpion W2. They are now being issued, and soldiers are expected to retire their prior uniforms by summer 2018.

This means it’s the end of the line for the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP), which was known for its digital-like appearance. Camouflage has undergone numerous changes in the past decade, and the new OCP is just the latest effort by the U.S. military to develop the “perfect camouflage.”

While not standing out on the battlefield would seem fairly obvious, the use of camouflage by the U.S. military only dates back 60 years. And, the use of camouflage by any army dates back just a couple of centuries.

FK – Someone must’ve been getting paid off all those years to keep them dressed in that absurd nearly baby blue crap they wore. Our ‘troops’ are pawns and their lives and health are tertiary at best. Here’s the WIkipedia page on this stuff and an article they linked to. Multi cam is the best thing I’ve ever seen in real use. There are probably better patterns out there. The old woodland we used is not good for temperate climates in the winter, too much green. I use the multi-cam to hunt and it looks like a much better all-around pattern if that’s all they claim they can afford.

Sure, Christopher Columbus had his faults. The man wasn’t perfect. He wanted to make money. He wanted to make a name for himself. He killed Native Americans. Oregon Residents Rebuke the President

You probably remember the now-infamous mantra that we’ve heard from this White House:  “You never let a good crisis go to waste.”

Right?

Well, the President traveled to Oregon today to further politicize the tragic shooting that occurred there last week.

But residents of Roseburg are not amused, and they are decrying the President’s visit today.

Over 8,000 people have signed onto a website declaring that the President is “not welcome” in Oregon today.

Some massacre survivors are boycotting the President. Some have told him to “quit with the gun control.”

Don’t be surprised if we also see a presidential push for Universal Background Checks (aka, Universal Gun Registration).

We cannot let this stand. The President is trying to make an end-run around Congress, at a time when the House is in chaos.

That’s why it’s all the more important that we DEMAND that the next Speaker of the House use the appropriations process to defund (aka, kill) every illegal Executive Action on gun control.

Defunding gun control — that is, using the congressional “power of the purse” — is the same way we repealed an FBI gun tax under President Clinton, overturned a shotgun import ban by Obama, and killed the ATF’s multiple sales registration throughout the country.

This is the best way to repeal gun control, but it will require the Republicans to put on their “big boy pants.”

FK – It wouldn’t in reality involve all that. The ‘gun laws’ on the books already infringe, all of them. The ‘assault weapons’ ban infringed but we put up with it. When enough commies get into the congress and the now red  house again they could very will gut the Second Amendment by doing what Australia and England did. A commie SCOTUS would not rule in the favor of Liberty. So where would we be then?

A Second Amendment that is treated like a toy to be taken to the range or the deer stand is a toy that can be regulated, registered, licensed, and confiscated. Only when enough real Americans come to grips with what the gun battle is really about and that we could win the gun battle but still lose the war and then develop the resolve to do what will be required will things really change.

Our domestic blood enemies, our greatest enemies who have white skin and were likely born here and aren’t hiding in a cave on the other side of the world will not relent in their efforts to fully enslave us until we force them to. They will never throw up their hands and say “Oh sorry we bothered you, we’re going home now to live in peace and Liberty with our neighbors.” They’re incapable of that.

Violence is Golden

A lot of people like to think they are “non-violent.” Generally, people claim to “abhor” the use of violence, and violence is viewed negatively by most folks. Many fail to differentiate between just and unjust violence. Some especially vain, self-righteous types like to think they have risen above the nasty, violent cultures of their ancestors. They say that “violence isn’t the answer.” They say that “violence doesn’t solve anything.”

They’re wrong. Every one of them relies on violence, every single day.

On election day, people from all walks of life line up to cast their ballots, and by doing so, they hope to influence who gets to wield the axe of authority. Those who want to end violence — as if that were possible or even desirable — often seek to disarm their fellow citizens. This does not actually end violence. It merely gives the state mob a monopoly on violence. This makes you “safer,” so long as you don’t piss off the boss.

All governments — left, right or other — are by their very nature coercive. They have to be.

Order demands violence.

FK – Should be read by every high schooler and be required knowledge for every would-be voter since voting is the most violent act anyone can participate in. Pacifists don’t need to apply.
