FK – While I agree with you in general I feel there are certain points I would be grossly remiss for not listing:

When millions or billions believe a falsehood to the point they’re willing to kill you over it that makes it very real. Religious adherents have proven this again and again over the millennia. But then the ‘wars for god’ are usually about resources and territory. See modern Israel.

Ideas carry the weight of blood and the baggage of human suffering and can expand to fill whatever void is there. Hundreds of millions died because of the ‘idea’ of communism regardless of its true origins. As long as some dumbass can read a copy of ‘The Communist Manifesto’ and claim “This could work if it’s only done right!” then it’s very real.

The question to ask is why do the corporations fund the commie front groups? Why did ‘capitalist’ Jeff Bezos buy the washington compost and allow it to remain a commie rag?

Why do Amazon properties in Kentucky have signs saying ‘no weapons’ when the law doesn’t allow them to do so?

What is ‘allegiance?’ Look it up. Who wrote the ‘pledge‘ and why? I don’t think the Founders, at least those who truly valued Liberty, would’ve been in favor of such.

Considering all our enemies have accomplished maybe the constitution is inadequate. Read the ‘Federalist Papers’ and experience muttering “bullshit, bullshit” under your breath as Hamilton’s words of love for the federal govt. and his denial of the tyranny it could represent have been dwarfed by modern actuality.

The Bill of Rights, insisted upon by the Anti-Federalists, is the document that makes us exceptional. They acknowledge our natural born right to kill those who would imprison or torture or kill us for not obeying their version, sub-version or subversion of reality.

20 + years of trying to get the tool-using monkeys to pay attention and act on anything at all that actually matters has convinced me that the human species is collectively insane.

I’ll never forget the preacher in the 70s who told us about a 14-year-old girl who said “No” to Jesus during an alter call and was trapped in a burning car on the way home from church and was screaming out that she wished she’d said “Yes” with of course the implication being that she would be burned alive forever. Of course many now deny the reality of sexual desire of one of that age and if an adult male of whatever age engaged in consensual sex with her he should be thrown under the prison and of course burned alive in fire with her forever.

That’s all the insanity I’ll mention for a while. Chew on it if you’re capable, while considering it was once a common thing for teens to get married and for our ancestors to have multiple wives and on and on.

It is funny that modern churches are full of re-married divorcees when their master clearly allegedly said not to do so, indeed he called it adultery.

The most ‘negative’ parents teach their children that violence is never an option and are negligent in providing them the skills they might need to kill those who might seek to enslave them or in our case enslave them further. The fact our domestic blood enemies would prefer a child be raped, tortured and murdered in front of their parents rather than the parents have the tools and skills necessary to stop the attack at the outset is reason enough to run them from our shores or hunt them to extinction. But this is no longer a nation of men.

The agenda as always is the decline of an empire. From the dust of dead societies we gathered the ideas that carried us to this point. The real question is what ideas will survive this next dust-up and will the survivors have sufficient understanding to establish a new birth of liberty or will humankind enter a new darkness?
