Next week, there will be more gun votes on the floor of the United States Senate than there will be for the rest of the year put together.
The Senate will vote on an amendment by Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID) on whether to eliminate the Operation Choke Point program — designed by the Obama administration to squeeze the financial life out of the firearms industry.
In addition, the Senate is expected to vote on whether or not to implement national concealed carry reciprocity. It could vote on whether ATF’s ban on AR-15 ammunition should be permanently prohibited. It could vote on whether to make it illegal for the Senate to push semi-auto or magazine bans — or universal gun registries.
The vehicle will be the Concurrent Budget Resolution. And it’s perhaps the only time when senators can — and do — offer amendments on ANYTHING THEY WANT. And they offer hundreds of amendments.
But — and this is an important “but” — despite the fact that there will be hundreds of amendments, these votes will freeze senators into a “pro-gun” or “anti-gun” position. And, when reciprocity or Choke Point come up again in two or three months, senators will find it almost impossible to shift from the positions they will take on the Budget Resolution next week.
FK – Why that could never happen heere! We can still go buy steak and ice cream and watch the Cats on the big screen…

FK – I’ve been in a ‘hostile state’ for nearly 20 years since I figured out the average dumbass around me didn’t give a damn and never will…
It will be up to that tiny minority as it always is. That will still be millions. We will still outnumber them until they start drafting from the big cities and from overseas like Lincoln did. We need to fight to win, not to prove an ideology.
While allegations that Norquist is “an agent of influence” on behalf of Islamic interests will raise concerns of many NRA members and gun owners in general, Beck did not cite one reason why his activities in that regard conflict with NRA’s bylaws, the charter that defines director eligibility and all other matters pertaining to operational policies. And while it’s useful for NRA’s voting members to know the truth about such ties (not surprisingly, Norquist and his American Conservative Union allies dispute and condemn the legitimacy of such criticisms) so that members can decide if that’s a personal show-stopper for them, chances are his reelection is already a done deal.
FK – Are you familiar with the concept of ‘controlled opposition?’
FK – The SCOTUS is not the final arbiter of our rights. We are. They are our employees. They will ultimately have to be forced to accept this reality or they will force us to accept a deeper slavery than we now enjoy.
The ‘other side’ seems to have discovered their 2A rights:

FK – How many of them are Fed agents or narcs or informants? Someone should have done a poll. They need to work on their ‘marching’ as well…
Search the names on their patches if you don’t know the history of the ‘Black Panthers’ and gun rights.
Speaking of history:
FK – Our domestic blood enemies know full well a nation of pacified ignorant children is a nation of future willing slaves.
This is what happens when they run things:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NxRMC4cnjU
FK – Why would they ‘outcry’ over a situation they created for their own purposes?
FK – We need to be kicking the creatures in the head, not allowing them to play games with our natural born Liberty. We either put them in their places or they will do so to us.
As undeniably satisfying as that would be, though, I argue that actually accomplishing that goal might fairly be described as “winning the battle, but losing the war.” It all comes down to something from the previous paragraph–something worth repeating: ” . . . the reason for the very existence of the agency is for the enforcement of blatantly unconstitutional ‘laws.'” There is no reason to anticipate the imminent repeal of the unconstitutional federal gun laws (which is basically another way of saying all federal gun laws). Rep. Sensenbrenner’s bill, as well-intended as it undoubtedly is, certainly would not do so, and indeed would transfer enforcement of federal gun laws to the far larger, better funded, and more powerful FBI. As tireless liberty advocate Mike Vanderboegh has long argued, “I tell you now, I far prefer the devil I know in rehab than the devil I don’t running free with even greater power operating behind a cloak of invisibility, immunity and impunity.”
Some might argue that the FBI is less evil, less corrupt, and less prone to sadistic predation on the American people. Perhaps–but is that all the higher we are going to set the bar? It was not the BATFE, after all, but FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi who murdered an unarmed Vicky Weaver at Ruby Ridge, while she held her 10-month-old baby.
When the federal government incinerated scores of men, women, and children alive at Waco, it was not the BATFE, but the FBI who orchestrated the massacre (although the FBI did “honor” their little brothers and sisters of the smaller agency, by running up the BATFE flag over the still-smoking remains of their victims). In short, going from unconstitutional gun laws being enforced by the BATFE, to having the same unconstitutional gun laws enforced by the FBI, is not an upgrade for liberty.
FK – The republicrats had the congress and the now red house for years. What did they do but stand around with their fingers in the dike? What are they doing now? They could have de-funded BATF, DHS, and dozens of other evil agencies, laws, long ago.
Where’s the NRA? Why is GOA the only ‘gun group’ talking about amnesty when the commies want the illegals here for one reason: so they can get them to vote commie?
This column makes sense but in the bigger picture I’m not sure it makes much difference. Until enough apply proper political pressure or until enough wake up to the necessity of doing what will be required, we will remain saddled as the NWO livestock we are.
FK – We should shut them down, try them for treason and execute them and distribute their retirement funds among their victims if for no other reason than it would feel so good. But then that will probably require war crimes trials which will require a war. Are we ready for what will be required?
Our domestic blood enemies will NEVER just walk away or throw up their hands and say “Oh sorry we bothered you, we’re going home now to live in peace and Liberty with our neighbors.” Won’t happen. The trash will have to forced off this continent or into the grave. Get ready.
FK – Well, the cow is right about one thing, it would only take one round to kill it.
The agency is now crying “uncle,” in the face of thousands upon thousands of negative comments from gun owners all around the country — including more than 200 congressmen.
The agency said today:
Although ATF endeavored to create a proposal that reflected a good faith interpretation of the law and balanced the interests of law enforcement, industry, and sportsmen, the vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework, and include issues that deserve further study.
A “good faith interpretation”? Well, that’s laughable. But realize the agency says the issue deserves “further study.”
So now the question becomes: Is this a genuine retreat, or just a “tactical retreat,” as we saw with Operation Choke Point? In that case, the federal government removed gun dealers from its “risky business list,” but continue to persecute them under that program on a case-by-case basis.
And, finally, what about the ban on Russian-made 7N6 ammo, which is not reversed by ATF’s reversal?
Our answer to both of these questions is that we need to keep up the pressure — and not trust ATF’s purported “change of heart.”
GOA will keep watching the ATF and alert you to any future attempts to slip a ban by the American people.
FK – When the BATF Nazi trash mentions ‘faith’ it means in an all powerful force of murdering government goons.
Governments will always be able to get guns thus we need to be better armed than them.
FK – The ‘crime’ issue is a red herring. Even if ‘gun control’ could be proven to lower crime it would still be evil.
All ‘gun control’ is propaganda designed to condition the sheeple to more ‘control’ until full civilian disarmament is achieved. Thus all gun control is an act of war. All who forward it should be arrested, tried for treason against Human Liberty and executed.
“The Special Advisory letter claims that in 2011 a Polish made 5.45×39 Onyks 89S pistol was submitted for import approval by an unspecified entity,” The Bang Switch reported at the time. “It’s so obscure in fact that only 200 were produced in Poland and to my knowledge none were ever imported nor sold on the U.S. market as semi-automatic pistols.”
That hardly matters when the criteria being argued about include concepts like “sporting purposes.” The term appears nowhere in the Constitution, and its first documented enforcement over firearms was in 1938 German law. Likewise, the Constitution is similarly silent on any branch of government, let alone a federal agency, having legitimate delegated authority to override the clear “shall not be infringed” mandate in the Second Amendment.
As for potential armor-piercing capability, the opinion rendered in the Supreme Court’s 1939 Miller decision provides guidance on founding intent. The court held a weapon falls under Second Amendment protection if it “is any part of the ordinary military equipment, or that its use could contribute to the common defense.”
FK – The only ‘sporting purpose’ to the Second Amendment is when the “Liberal”(commie) and other assorted authoritarian trash runs or shoots back.
FK – They’ll be baaacckk. You can count on it. The only ultimate solution to this internal/infernal war being waged on Human Liberty and the Bill of Rights will be doing what will be required. After all these years so many are still brain deep in denial of this simple reality.
The ATF has issued a press release calling it a “publishing error” that has “no legal impact on the validity of the exemptions.” The agency says the regulations guide will be corrected in PDF format, but that may not satisfy a growing number of angry gun owners, many of whom think it is time for the agency to go.
Those gun owners have company on Capitol Hill. Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner has, according to The Hill, revived his legislation to abolish the ATF and incorporate its duties into other federal agencies.
FK – It’s been obvious for two decades that we needed to eradicate that trash: de-fund it, repeal the evil laws it enforces, try it’s badged and armed bureaucrats for treason against the Bill of Rights and execute them then distribute their retirement funds amongst their enemies so I don’t really understand the question in the headline.
At the end of the day they attacked the Branch Davidian compound there should’ve been black-suited Nazis hanging along Texas highways for the world to see, but I and many others were asleep back then, stupidly assuming the gooburment had a reason for burning children they later claimed they went there to save when it wasn’t even in their jurisdiction to do so.
The fact that the perpetrators of that crime are still mostly vertical shows we exist in a nation of cowardly apathetic whores.
OK, but so what? What does any of that have to do with gun rights?
Really? Being a keystone objective of the anti-gun “progressives,” the Obama administration, and the Democrat party, which includes things like a renewed “assault weapon” ban in its national platform isn’t enough? How about the fact that all credible polling shows not only will this result in overwhelming support for the Democrats, but also that this population is overwhelmingly (71 to 25 percent) in favor of more government controls on guns?
Yet curiously, with the threat this has of undoing all legislative and judicial gains in gun rights enjoyed to date, especially through the confirmation of judges who will then be in a position to reverse such wins, only Gun Owners of America has consistently been sounding this alarm. Out of the national gun groups, only GOA intends to score politicians on amnesty.
FK – When will enough force themselves to understand that this is a war and our guns are only the tools we will ultimately need to do what will be required?
FK – The communists don’t care about crime. Crime is a red herring. It’s about the WAR they are waging against human Liberty and their desire to disarm us so that we have no way to kill them when enough finally awaken to the necessity of doing what will be required.
See what the global communist insurgency and their elitist masters have reduced the Brits to:
FK – I like how he says “Squorral.”
The Brits are ‘allowed’ to hunt four-legged animals with their bolt-action rifles and over and under shotguns. There is no recognition of their natural born right, duty and responsibility to hunt and eradicate the two-legged animals that reduced them to their present state.
We must let our animals know we won’t tolerate such at the pain of their deaths.
A smirking White House spokesman Josh Earnest couldn’t conceal his glee, yesterday, as he reveled in the trick Obama had played on the Second Amendment movement.
Think back to April 17, 2013, when the Senate killed the Feinstein amendment to ban the AR-15 by a vote of 60-40. This fell 20 votes short of the needed 60, even though Democrats controlled the Senate at the time. But now Obama is trying to effectively ban the AR-15 by “regulatory fiat” by banning the most common ammunition used in that firearm, M855 ammunition.
But a gushing Earnest was unrepentant: “The President has long believed that there are some commonsense steps that we can take … taking some commonsense steps to prevent people who shouldn’t have guns from getting guns.”
FK – The Second Amendment isn’t ‘sporting’ unless the “Liberal”(commie) trash is running or shooting back. Plenty of them will shoot back. The evil creatures killed 200 million in the 20th century alone. And they’re recruiting from down south:
FK – It would be best for the current generation to do what will be required before future generations are outnumbered. It can and will happen. We should be building the military structure NOW that will be necessary to save what’s left of the Bill of Rights. It will come to that. It always does.
FK – Because it’s not about common ‘crime.’ It’s about our domestic blood enemies disarming us so we can’t kill them when enough finally wake up to the necessity of doing so.
FK – One wonders if the attendees will be required to disarm before listening to these whores as they were for McCommie at the convention in Louisville a few years back.
If the NRA had a backbone it would require everyone attending to be carrying a rifle to send our future and present elected public SERVANTS a message.
Now some attention to the insanity our domestic blood enemies represent:
That’s because credible polling confirms it would add a massive influx of new Democrat and “gun control”- sympathizing voters to the rolls. And that tracks with warnings issued by Gun Owners of America, curiously alone among national gun rights advocacy groups in sounding an alarm.
GOA has warned that the “pathway” will provide for millions of new anti-gun voters with the electoral clout to undo all hard-won legislative and judicial gains gun owners have enjoyed in recent years. That the administration is working toward that goal is corroborated by what Homeland Security Jeh Johnson, the official behind so-called “executive amnesty,” told the United Conference of Mayors, when he maintained that “the approximately 11 million people who are in the country illegally have ‘earned the right to be citizens.’”
Despite knowing this, and knowing that that one of the supposed “pro-gun Democrats” who betrayed NRA and gun owner support has openly proclaimed immigration “will decide who is in charge of this country for the next 20 or 30 years,” the NRA head talked about all kinds of other issues but didn’t breathe a word about amnesty.
FK – The ‘No Rights that aren’t Allowed’ group is ran by big money republicrats who put profits and their lifestyles before human Liberty.
