Memorial day was a Yankee holiday created to remember the Union dead, those who helped kill the republic by telling the southern states they couldn’t seek the same independence their forefathers did only a couple generations before. Simple fact.

Let’s get over the blind patriotism and blind faith and deal in reality. The Bill of Rights is what makes us exceptional. That’s what we’re fighting for. We are supposed to have a secular government. Freedom of religion means freedom from religion, any religion, or any version, sub-version or subversion. It can’t mean anything but that.

Bless your heart sir but many Vietnam draftees may not have had any more ‘belief in America’ than the commies heckling you. Many of them came home to protest with the communist insurgency that was the anti-war movement. Lot’s of ignorant 19-year-olds die in wars.

Our mistake in both Korea and Vietnam was in not keeping the troops home and helping them kill the commies here first. McCarthy was right. We need to bring back the committee on un-American activities and prosecute all these commie front groups for waging war on the Bill of Rights.

Commies in power practice blacklisting all the time and lie about it to our faces and tell us we ‘live in a free country’ while doing everything possible to destroy that freedom. It’s way past time to stop tolerating them.

A Louisiana police captain’s extremely blunt message to local gang members is quickly going viral.

Capt. Clay Higgins directed his warning at the Gremlins gang, explaining that ten suspected members have been arrested, but seven remain at-large.

The fugitives are accused of committing murders, thefts and drug-related crimes. In many cases, however, victims declined to cooperate with police.

Higgins warned the wanted gang members that they will be brought to justice.

“If you raise your weapon to a man like me, we’ll return fire with superior fire. … I’ll meet you on solid ground anytime, anywhere, light or heavy, makes no difference to me. You won’t walk away,” he said.

Will Speaker Ryan Heed Pelosi’s Call for More Gun Control?

Within the next few days, Congress will consummate a deal on the massive “omnibus” appropriations bill to fund all discretionary functions of the government.

House Speaker Paul Ryan is widely reported to be crafting a deal which would pass the bill with Democratic votes — in lieu of conservative pro-gun Republicans.

In particular, Pelosi is demanding that Congress remove “boilerplate” text which has existed for twenty years — language that prevents the use of taxpayer dollars for “junk science” government studies in support of gun control.

According to The Hill this weekend, while many Republicans are balking at Pelosi’s request, some have indicated that they are willing to engage in some horse-trading on this issue, and “House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has declined to take a position” at all.

We saw on Sunday how newspapers like the New York Times use fraudulent “studies” from anti-gun nuts like the “Violence Policy Center” — and then pretend how these Leftist kooks are “unbiased.”

Imagine how much worse this would be if liberal Obama-controlled government agencies began pushing these same corrupt anti-gun “analyses.”

Remember, there’s a reason that Congress de-funded this research in the first place.

ACTION:  Please click here to urge your Representatives to vote against any version of the “omnibus” spending bill that would allow fraudulent anti-gun “junk science” studies by Obama’s government agencies.
