ATF quietly laying groundwork to expand multiple rifle sales reporting

The question now becomes, especially with a seeming total lack of publicity, is ATF attempting an “under the radar” action to impose on the entire country what they previously imposed (over objections that could have been stronger) on southwest gun buyers and sellers?

“That’s what it looks like,” one legal adviser approached for his read on this development offered. “And no, I haven’t seen this yet, which is strange as I’m subscribed to the ATF Federal Register filings.”

Perhaps congressional representatives should be contacted and asked what they know about this, if anything, and if the administration bypassing the elected representatives of the people to enact “gun control” via executive diktat is something that sits OK with them. That might be especially relevant in an election year, as the move seemingly allows the president’s party to keep a low profile on guns until after the elections, while he does their lifting for them.

FK – We should be ordering our elected public servants to shut down the BATF Nazi trash and repeal all the ‘laws’ they enforce.

Black Hawk helicopters with their lights turned off frightened Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio residents last night as part of an unannounced military drill.

Some have speculated as to why the helicopters were “dark” and had no lights on.

A military and foreign affairs analyst Appalachian Area News contacted said the drill was most likely “assessing civilian response time to an unknown aerial threat.”

FK – Remember, one shot, then move.

Bundy supporters file complaints against feds

The officers were dispatched to keep a neutral zone between Bundy supporters and federal agents.

“We were told, we’re going to go down there and we’re going to get between the BLM and the protesters. We were going, OK, we’ve been there before, but as we were driving up, it was like a movie set. It didn’t look real; people in the back of pickup trucks with rifles and shotguns. It was hard to grasp that at the beginning,” he said.

FK – Excellent. Now visualize tens of thousands of those pickups on the road to the district of commie criminals with lots of good strong western rope. That’s what we desperately need.

Anti-surveillance movement calls ‘Reset the Net’ day of action

Let’s Stop Giving The FCC Free Rein To Regulate The Internet

The decision—handed down by a DC Federal Appellate Court—was seen as a loss for the FCC and supporters of net neutrality, but in fact, it may have been a huge win. While the court ruled that the FCC had no legal basis to implement the rules as they were written, it provided the agency with a clear roadmap to regulate broadband providers and pricing for all services connected to the internet, as well as broadband providers’ economic relationships with edge providers.

If this sounds like a lot of power, that’s because it is. If the rules are revised and approved by the court (and they are expected to be sometime this spring/summer) the FCC will have substantial regulatory authority over the internet. What’s more is that under these rules, when the FCC wishes to expand upon this authority in the future, they need only to prove that proposed regulations will “encourage the deployment…of advanced telecommunications capability.” A vague and flimsy burden to say the least.

Bunkerville residents sound off about BLM, police, media

Residents and council members praised militia members gathered there in support of embattled rancher Cliven Bundy, but had nothing but vitriol for the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie and the local and national media.

“The day the militia [came] was the day I felt safe again in Nevada,” one meeting attendee said.

FK – Have you formed your militia yet? You don’t have to be Rambo, just give a damn.

The Pennsylvania state Supreme Court has ruled police officers no longer need a warrant to search a citizen’s vehicle.

Under prior law, an officer who smells marijuana inside a car, for example, could only search the car with the driver’s consent — or if illegal substances were in plain view.

Now, based on the opinion, it only takes reasonable probable cause for an officer to go ahead with a search without a warrant.

FK – What’s so unbelievable about a black-robed shyster serving its masters?

FK – Kids in the car are possibly a far greater distraction so all kids in vehicles should be sedated. Brain dead women who think the whole world should slow down because they have ‘babies’ in the car, who they think everyone’s universe should now revolve around, should be sedated and kept from driving at all.
