At 9:30 on a sunny July morning, the screaming starts: a ragged, half-human keen that pierces the halcyon woods flanking our western Pennsylvania home. My wife, Debbie, our 11-year-old son, Jack, and I run outside to see what’s being murdered. There, beside a patch of Big Boy tomatoes, stand our two pugs, Lefty and Biscuit, with something scruffy and feral wedged between them. It takes a moment to realize what exactly is happening. A 20-pound raccoon has affixed its teeth to the jowly flesh of Biscuit’s muzzle and won’t let go.

I grab a shovel and pin the raccoon’s torso to the ground, which only intensifies the creature’s screams. Putting my full weight into it, I try to shovel the attacking beast in half. Debbie grabs Biscuit’s trunk and tries to yank her free, but the raccoon’s teeth refuse to unclamp. Debbie yells for our friend Rudy Plese, who’s inside working on a carpentry job. He runs out and grabs another shovel.

“Hit it on the head,” shouts Debbie, whose own hands are now perilously close to the raccoon’s teeth. Rudy raps the beast’s brainpan once, then again, and again.

FK – Of course no one had the presence of mind to get a gun and kill it without touching it, not to mention at least one of the ‘adults’ in this situation should have had a firearm within ready reach. Is a family pet worth endangering the entire family?

According to Fox News, prior to the new regulations, British gun owners were subject to visits by the authorities. However, these required prior notification. The new policy does not.

“British authorities argue that the new policy is necessary based on so-called ‘intelligence’ indicating a specific threat,” Gottlieb observed, “but there is considerable danger in this revision because such guidelines could be easily abused.

Often enough so that flu shots are essentially useless, said epidemiologist and talk-show host Dr. Michael Savage yesterday on his Savage Nation radio show; he explained that the strain of flu virus on which a vaccine is based is not the same strain that will likely be prevalent during flu season, as he issued a warning about Ebola’s capacity to mutate into an even more contagious disease.

FK – I usually respect what the New American publishes, but I’m still not convinced to worry about it, unless it’s some kind of ‘false flag’ as some are claiming in which case the govt. and sheeple response to Ebola will probably be worse than the disease, uh Ebola. The real disease we face is called the Amerikan Communist Insurgency and their bankster masters.

According to recent reports, Kroger, the grocery store chain, has decided to take a stand against liberal extremists that are attempting to limit the freedoms of the Second Amendment.

Mother’s Demand Action (MDA), an anti-gun group, has made an effort to pressure big brands like Starbucks, Target, etc. to ask their customers not to carry guns into their stores. Now, they have shifted their focus to the grocery store.

Kroger is taking a stand, and have made statements that they prefer that their customers enjoy the freedom that the constitution grants them. As a result, MDA has started a petition against the store. Shockingly, it has received over 300,000 signatures demanding a ban on guns.
