A desperate anti-gun lobby is trying to silence Gun Owners of America — and your voice, too — in federal elections.

Last month, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence attacked a pro-gun candidate in West Virginia, demanding he return money donated by GOA’s political fund.

Now they’re insisting the same of a congressional candidate in California.

On nine occasions this week the National Instant Criminal Background Check System reported outages that delayed the completion of checks for customers shopping at licensed gun dealers.

Ordinarily, the Federal Bureau of Investigation boasts a 99 percent success rate for processing checks, but when NICS was upgraded on Sept. 6, some of the changes misfired and techs have been busy working the bugs out.

As the people of Eloy, Ariz., celebrated the 200^th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner with a parade, their Democratic congresswoman flew a Mexican flag on her float.

U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick posted images of her float on social media Saturday, and while not having an American flag may have been an oversight, someone made sure there was a Mexican flag prominently displayed.
