FK – Any religious govt. is insanity. One cannot get three religionists to sit around a campfire and agree on which version, sub-version or subversion is right. That’s why the Founders created a secular govt.
Waging war based on ancient tribal propaganda is also insanity. Especially when the special nation state in question was founded by European socialists and ran by secularists who couldn’t care less about the eschatology of amerikan evangelicals except as a way to maintain power over our governments and minds and tax dollars.

In a free country there’s no such thing as a group whose motives cannot be questioned. When we have that we have a serious problem. We have a serious problem.
FK – Let’s think about this. That was a war over empire and trade, the control of the South Pacific and Asia. The U.S. empire had already taken the Philippines from the worn out Spanish Empire decades before.
The Japanese as authoritarian and imperfect as they were certainly felt pressured to attack Pearl Harbor because of embargoes put in place by the U.S. government.
Near the end of many to most wars the losing side(s) usually have trouble obtaining the supplies, manpower, whatever they need to sustain a ‘normal’ fight. This is why the Union POWs at Andersonville prison were starving and why the pictures of NAZI concentration camp victims show emaciated bodies, skin and bones.
‘Suicide missions’ are not that uncommon in warfare. In fact just being in or near a combat zone decreases one’s life expectancy. Not sure about the numbers on that but it’s slightly worse than getting out of bed in the morning on a water-soaked fire spitting rock that’s flying millions of miles an hour through space and which ‘near-Earth objects’ regularly aren’t seen until they’ve already disintegrated in the air or made another crater on this ancient planet already pock marked with them.
The only ‘safe zones’ here are between the ears of morons.
We exist in such a pathetic dumbed-down pacified culture that there are no men here who even understand that we should already be hunting the white-skinned domestic blood enemies of our Bill of Rights to extinction. So it’s no wonder the average sheeple can’t understand that a few of those indoctrinated Japanese youth might have at least felt some responsibility for their country and their emperor.
The sad fact is that any generation can be indoctrinated into blind obedience to and blind faith in ‘god-appointed kings(or magistrates), sadistic bronze age gods, insane religions, regressive political systems and/or flags that haven’t represented human liberty in multiple decades.
Go to any church/funeral and hear the preacher ask the congregation to ‘stand for Jesus’ and you see the same peer pressure that was applied to those Japanese pilots. Except that instead of being threatened with a beating they’re threatened with eternal torture in fire.
And we think we’re so much better than them. We are still a very primitive species and we exist in a very dark and dangerous age. As always blind faith and blind patriotism are two of the biggest foundation stones for tyranny.
Good grief, Navy personnel are sailors, not soldiers. This guy or who ever wrote this is a great example of my on-going complaint about the non-men of western civ. But then this guy lives in a country full of cowards that surrendered their guns to their govt. without killing their commie trash.

Why choose one version of authoritarianism over another?
FK – Sorry I didn’t get around to watching this one earlier. If we had the government we should have I’d have no problem telling someone to join and ‘serve.’ In fact I think we need to return to mandatory conscription for all because I encounter so many sheeple in the real world and on the net who have absolutely no concept of reality. This entire culture could use a drill instructor yelling in its face for a while.
