The surrender of the Confederacy was indeed a sorrowful event. It allowed the radical Republicans, who were the ‘big govt.’ advocates of our day, to turn our nation into an empire. Read “The Real Lincoln.”
At least you mentioned tax day, the day millions file forms they’re not legally required to file for an amendment that was never ratified by enough states to become law:
I find it curious that Col. North equals a 2/3 to 90 percent death rate to ‘anarchy.’ It might be a little beyond that.
And no Col. North the Second Amendment doesn’t ‘give’ us the right to protect our families. It acknowledges our natural born right to hunt and kill those who would enslave us or in our case enslave us further. Who writes/edits this stuff?
Is all this more fear mongering? We, those who try to pay attention, heard for decades that the Soviet Union had human agents in this country and backpack nukes, like our govt., and had hidden them around in different places. We won’t know for sure until we do what will be required to take our country back, hold the treason trials and demand accountability for many wrong doings.
How much longer till the NRA deals in that reality and encourages its members to prep for what will be required?
FK – What political ideology, clearly our greatest enemy, a domestic enemy, has kept the power plants from being built?
Do we blame the men in the Trojan horse or the ones who opened the gate? I know who I’d shoot first.
FK – How do we know it wasn’t an experimental govt. op? Are you childish enough to think they’re not capable of that? What good does it do the patriot movement or any ‘terrorist’ group to harm the sheeple or their soft way of life? Did 9/11 make millions of brain dead sheeple go out and buy a copy of the Koran so they could understand what the fundie ragheads wanted? Of course not. It only fostered more blind hatred, not support for their cause. It also provided the excuse for the passage of the Patriot Act, a very evil law that was written before 9/11.
What are the real results? Who benefits most from such actions? Why is the NRA forwarding this propaganda?
“Right now, we are at 33 percent readiness,” Gen. Odierno said, referring to the Army’s 32 Brigade Combat Teams. “What keeps me up at night more than anything else is that I might get a mission to send some of our soldiers and we haven’t properly trained them or given them the right equipment to do their job.” Now at less than half the desired level of readiness for its Brigade Combat Teams, the U.S. Army should be maintaining 70 percent readiness, he said.
“If sequestration occurs [in 2016], for the next three to four to five years, we’ve moving towards a hollow army,” Gen Odierno said in a January speech.
Since Gen. Odierno became the U.S. Army Chief of Staff three years ago, the Army has shed 80,000 troops, with another 40,000 likely to be dropped through attrition.
FK – Sigo(a commenter) is right. But I must ask what if the general is just lying in the hopes for a budget increase? How is ‘readiness’ really defined? Readiness for what? A two front war? Civilian insurrection? Or just more of the same NWO corporate profiteering we’ve seen for decades?
If some are right when they claim the Marxist mutt fired the officers who won’t go along with its plans then just how ‘hollow’ or hollow headed or hollow hearted is the military?
