Columnist Andrew Sullivan said he was “disgusted” by the whole affair.
“Will he now be forced to walk through the streets in shame? Why not the stocks? The whole episode disgusts me – as it should disgust anyone interested in a tolerant and diverse society,” he wrote. “If this is the gay rights movement today – hounding our opponents with a fanaticism more like the religious right than anyone else – then count me out. If we are about intimidating the free speech of others, we are no better than the anti-gay bullies who came before us.”
Twitchy also noted that Barack Obama once held the same view of gay marriage that Eich holds.
FK – What corporation out there isn’t doing something evil? Homosexuality is either a birth defect or a mental illness but with the current state of insanity, one side calling it ‘normal’ and the other calling it ‘sin’ nothing will be done about it, if that’s even possible, for a very long time. The human race is insane.
This echoes a refrain that emanated from the NRA immediately following the Sandy Hook massacre. Said the group’s chief executive Layne LaPierre, “How can we possibly even guess how many [Lanzas are out there] given our nation’s refusal to create an active national database of the mentally ill?”
In a surprisingly lucid summary of the strategy of the gun controllers to use “mental health” as the entering wedge first to create a national database of all gun owners, the Washington Post pointed out that, in the past, the states had primary responsibility and authority to devise their own systems of laws and regulations concerning the ownership of firearms by their citizens. Many, in fact, have stronger limitations than does the federal government under the Gun Control Act of 1968, which prohibits gun sales to individuals who have been committed to a mental institution or who have been “adjudicated as a mental defective.”
FK – Republicrats and the safari club leaders of the No Rights that aren’t Allowed group are very dangerous parts of the problem.
If the NRA was what it claims it would be actively pushing to repeal GCA ’68 and the NFA.
Last year, though, the U.S. government still sent over $1.75 billion to prop up the UN’s fledgling armed forces and their lawless “missions” around the globe — on top of paying for almost a quarter of the UN’s budget. In response to the perpetually ballooning scandals surrounding the international war-making troops, the Obama administration now hopes to reward them with more than $2.5 billion borrowed from abroad or extracted from U.S. taxpayers.
It is time for real change. Instead of saddling the American people with even more odious debt to the Communist Chinese regime and the privately owned Federal Reserve to prop up and reward the out-of-control UN, lawmakers should defund the radical international outfit altogether. Legislation currently in Congress, H.R. 75: American Sovereignty Restoration Act, would end all U.S. participation in the UN, including all handouts to the outfit from American taxpayers. Introduced by Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.), the bill has nine co-sponsors so far.
FK – For years we’ve been told that U.N. ‘peacekeepers’ could be sent here to help take our weapons and install a globalist police state. That would be the best thing the globalists could do for us. It’ll be a lot easier to get Bubba to wake up with ‘furriners’ running checkpoints on the road to his job. It’ll be a lot easier to get Bubba to kill them than his cousin in the guard or neighbor on the local cop force that chooses to enforce evil laws for a paycheck and a retirement plan.
FK – Take the kids and show them the reality of what our pioneer/settler ancestors had to endure to conquer this country so we could shop at the redneck mecca and drive on asphalt roads while talking on our cell phones.
FK – Maybe we should be asking why we aren’t all type A personalities like most workaholic corporate assholes who make billions while the rest of us slave away for them. But then we’d have to have robots do all the boring jobs. Wait, isn’t that what they’re planning now?
FK – Government agents, like wild animals can get too accustomed to feeding off pacified sheeple who neglect their right, duty and responsibility to do what is always required in such situations. This vid seems to go along with the next post…
FK – No one working for any corporate news source has the ‘right’ to write what they want. All of them impose certain limitations on their employees’ and especially their readerships’ speech. I oughta’ know, I’ve been blocked, banned from enough of them. In fact it’s ‘illegal’ to say or write openly what we should be doing to our biggest enemies, our domestic blood enemies, who’ve been working tirelessly for decades to overthrow the Bill of Rights.
“ICE released 68,000 criminal aliens in 2013, or 35 percent of the criminal aliens encountered by officers. The vast majority of these releases occurred because of the Obama administration’s prosecutorial discretion policies,” Vaughan wrote in a memo that drew from the ICE document. She noted that ICE classifies illegal immigrants as criminal if they have been convicted of a crime, excluding traffic offenses.
FK – That’s bigger than Bowling Green, KY. The commies want the illegals here so they can get them to vote commie.
